on Tuesday, 3 civilians were killed and injured when a mine left behind by the Houthi militia exploded in Lahj Governorate (southern Yemen), in conjunction with the death and injury of 3 siblings, east of Sanaa, in a similar incident.
Local sources confirmed that a civilian was killed and two others were injured as a result of a landmine explosion planted by the Houthi militia in one of the areas of the contact line in the Al-Hidd district, north of Lahj governorate.
On the same day, two children were killed and a third was injured, when a Houthi mine exploded in the Eyal Muhammad area of the Nehm district, east of Sanaa. Local sources said that they were all from one family, and their ages ranged between 12 and 16 years.
Since the beginning of the war, which is about to end its eighth year, thousands of civilians have been killed and injured by Houthi mines, most of them women and children.
