بلغ عدد الوفيات بعدن يوم الاحد 89 حالة وفاة بحسب تصريح رئيس مصلحة الاحوال المدنية اللواء سند جميل .
وجاء في التصريح :
إجمالي الوفيات ليوم الأحد الموافق 17 مايو 2020م بلغ (89) حالة موزعين على النحو التالي:_

تم صرف تصاريح الدفن بموجب خطابات على النحو التالي:_
*(69)خطاب من أقسام الشرط دون معرفة سبب الوفاة،،وحسب المتعارف علية الأسباب طبيعية

كما تم التواصل مع وكيل وزارة الصحة الدكتورة/ إشراق السباعي للترتيب لعقد اجتماع موسع يوم غدا يحدد فيه آلية العمل ورفع الإحصائيات لأحد الجهات في لجنة الطوارئ أو قسم الوبائيات لأجل المتابعة والنزول واتخاذ الإجراءات وتحديد أسباب الوفيات المرتفعة،،،،بالإضافة إلى مايمكن ان يقدم لموظفي السجل المدني من مواد تعقيم وسلامة أثناء مزاولة عملهم في ظل هذه الظروف
