The monitoring unit of the (Al-Marsad Post) news website monitored the victims of the explosion of individual and anti-vehicle mines and IEDs during the period from January 2020 to December 31, 2021, where (186) people were killed in (13) Yemeni governorates, Al-Hodeidah governorate ranked first (56) people, Followed by Al-Bayda Governorate (26), then Taiz Governorate (25) dead.. In terms of social diversity, the number of victims was (119) men, (19) women, and one
Children (48) children.

The Monitoring Unit indicated in a report that 170 people were killed due to the explosion of individual mines and explosive devices planted by the armed Houthi group, including 108 men, 45 children and 17 women out of the total number of 186 people killed by mines.
While (16) people, including (3) children and (2) women, were killed by the explosion of mines and explosive devices planted by unknown persons in the governorates of Hodeidah, Shabwa, Aden, Hadhramaut and Al-Dhale, out of the total number of people killed by landmines and explosive devices, which numbered (186).

The monitoring unit on the Al-Marsad Post website confirmed that (230) victims were injured due to the explosions of landmines and IEDs
Among them (113) men, (96) children and (21) women, they are also distributed among the governorates. Al-Hodeidah governorate took the lead in the number of injured (86), followed by some governorates such as: Taiz (42), Al Dhale (26) and Al Jawf (26). Al-Bayda (13), Marib (13) and Hajjah (10) were injured.

The Monitoring Unit indicated, Out of a total of (230) injuries, (219) of them were injured due to the explosions of landmines and explosive devices planted by the armed Houthi group, including (105) men, (94) children and (20) women.

It indicated that 11 people, including (8) men, (2) children and (1) a woman, were injured in the explosion of individual mines and explosive devices planted by unknown persons in the governorates of Aden, Al-Hodeidah, Aden, Taiz, Al-Dhalea and Al-Hajj.

It revealed that the damage and material losses amounted to (42) damage, including (12) vehicles, (5) schools, and (26) houses that were blew up by the armed Houthi group through its use of a high-explosive floor that was locally manufactured from (TNT) known as - dynamite, or The so-called gunpowder.

According to the experts and engineers in the engineering teams for demining in the governorates, most of the mines that have been cleared up to now are locally manufactured, in addition to the amount of Iranian and Russian mines that were connected to locally made pedals so that they explode as a result of pressure on them, even from individuals.
