Four civil society organizations said that they intend to launch a humanitarian initiative in the name of (Save Yemen) aiming to stop the ceasefire, intensify the efforts of the parties to the conflict and the international community to confront the catastrophe of the epidemic (Covid 19) and work in a serious and organized manner to stop and besiege the spread of this epidemic.
Sam Organization for Rights and Freedoms, the American Center for Justice, the Women for Yemen Network, and a Foundation for Defense for Rights and Freedoms, said that its initiative came because of the challenges facing civilians in Yemen under the current time, led by the spread of the new virus (Covid 19) Corona, which began to spread Terrifyingly and other diets that health institutions have been unable to cope with for several years, in addition to the continuation of the war and the calamities it causes on civilians and the disruption of life and services.
The four organizations called on all concerned to support the voluntary effort and provide them with the political and media support they can for the initiative.
The statement issued by the four organizations said that it will hold a press conference via the Zoom program to announce the details of its initiative, at 5 pm Sana a time, on Friday, May 29, 2020.
