The campaign organizers called on all media organizations, institutions, political leaders, journalists, media workers and activists to actively participate in the campaign, considering that this is a human and human duty and an ethical obligation, as well as a victory for the nations causes.
The statement issued by the campaign pointed out that the remembrance of the Yemeni Journalism Day comes while Yemeni journalists are still paying a heavy price baptized in blood, and freedom of the press in Yemen is living in its worst stages since the arrogant coup of the Houthi militia rebelling against all values, charters and human rights.
The campaign called for widespread solidarity with the kidnapped journalists in the prisons of the Houthi militia who are about to enter their sixth year, including those who have been issued orders of killing by the militias, along with others who are forcibly hidden.
She explained that the campaign comes in solidarity with all journalists whose freedoms have been violated and their rights have been confiscated, they lost their jobs and cut their salaries, and the displaced and displaced people, due to the Houthi brutality, which targeted the journalists, especially the Islah journalists and its media institutions.
