A human rights source said that a group of gunmen committed a heinous crime against a young civilian in the city of Aden
The head of the Defense Organization for Rights and Freedoms, Huda Al Sarari, explained in a tweet on Twitter that a group of gunmen, in the city of Aden, shot a young man named Alaa Khaled Al Shurari before torturing him to death to death.
She added that the assault on the young man shows the extent of brutality in dealing with others.
She stressed that the proliferation of weapons and the suspension of the judiciary and its institutions contributed to the spread of the law of the jungle and the high level of crime without a deterrent.
It also confirmed that the crime has become a feature of the city of Aden, which is controlled by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council forces.
The forces affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council have controlled the city of Aden since it was formed by the UAE at the beginning of the war, along with government forces, but it has completely tightened its control over the city since its coup against the latter in August 2019.
Since the STC took control of it, the city of Aden has been experiencing widespread security chaos, as it witnesses continuous extrajudicial killings, raids of citizens homes and arrests of civilians, as well as ongoing assassinations, and looting of public and private property.
